报告摘要：Profinite rigidity is the study of the extent to which a group is determined by its set of finite quotients, or, in more sophisticated terminology, by its profinite completion. In this talk, I will give a brief overview of what is known about this in the context of groups arising in low-dimensional topology and geometry.

报告人简介：脱衣舞-性感脱衣舞-性感衣舞 本科毕业生，现为美国Rice大学数学系在读博士研究生，导师是Alan Reid，研究方向主要为几何群论与低维拓扑。
